PEEKABOO opens the doors to a world where sexuality roams freely as a game. This universe embraces cruising, the search for fleeting encounters in public space, not just as an erotic practice but as a playful way to explore new forms of connection. Theater maker Maxime Dreesen invites you to get lost in a maze of desires, a web of experimentation and unexpected encounters.
Music, hypnosis, drag, text, and dance merge into a sensory experience. You meet shape-shifting beings: the slippery Couenne, courtship-dancing Courtney, radiant Birame, Julia the hypnotist in the sky, Benne on the keys, and the mischievous Tabooboo. They collide and melt, search and disappear, sing and laugh in a scenography as playful and sensual as they are. PEEKABOO is an ecstatic exploration of shameless pleasure where camp and comedy go hand in hand with intimate ASMR and mischievous pop songs. In a dreamlike setting where soft eroticism meets cartoonish absurdity, a playful, liberated ode to the unknown unfolds.
